It is also appropriate for anyone requiring allergen awareness training under Natasha’s Law. No prior qualifications are required.
What You Will Learn
Learners will understand what food allergens are, why they are dangerous, and how to manage them safely. The course covers the 14 regulated allergens, legal responsibilities under Natasha’s Law, PPDS food requirements, allergen labelling and customer communication. It also explains how to prevent cross-contamination and what to do in the event of an allergen incident.

This fully online course is self-paced and easy to follow, using practical examples from real food environments. It includes an end-of-course multiple-choice assessment and provides an instant digital certificate upon successful completion. The course can be accessed on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Certification & Duration
On successful completion, learners receive an Allergen Awareness Certificate (Level 2), typically valid for three years. The course takes approximately 1.5–2 hours to complete and can be paused and resumed at any time.
